The LNH is the Men professional league, created on 21 May 2004, received the delegation from the FFHB to:

• organize, promote and market men professional competitions (1^st and 2^nd league) and events,
• support the development of professional clubs both domestically and internationally,
• protect the integrity of its competitions through education, prevention and information.
