The Ministry is aware about the new risks of match fixing due to the development of online betting, and works with all French federations and professional leagues in order to protect integrity of our competitions and sports ethics.

The action of the Ministry is to :

•           Prevent excessive or pathological gambling,
•           Protect minors,
•           Ensure the integrity, reliability and transparency of gaming operations,
•           Prevent fraudulent or criminal activities, as well as money laundering and terrorist financing,
•           Ensure the balanced and equitable development of different sports and plays in order to avoid any economic destabilization.
